Two weeks in a nutshell, since you're all lazy and don't wanna read much.

So when I woke up on Saturday, two weeks ago, I had nothing to do, so I drove to Indiana. My plan was to stay there for a few days and visit iwth Sara and her family until I had to come back to work. The people from work, if you've been following, waited until Tuesday to call me with my schedule, at which point, I told them to piss off, that the earliest I could come in was Friday.

Friday morning, I packed the car and Sara and drove back to my apartment. I taught the SAT course Friday night. Saturday, I didn't do much of anything.

Sunday, I packed the car and Sara again and we went down to Long Beach Island for a week. We had a wonderful time. We rented bikes, read a whole bunch, went crabbing (I made crab cakes from crabs that I caught. Mo tells me that that is almost as hot as her being a redhead.) Myles came up on Thursday and we had a furious battle of Trivial Pursuit. Yesterday, I cooked a lobster.

This morning, I packed up the car and Sara again and drove back to my apartment for the purpose of feeding Roland and cleaning out the litter box. Tomorrow morning, I will pack up the car and Sara and drive back out to Indiana for a few days, only to come back on Wednesday to teach the SAT course.

I have finished 4 of the 7 Dark Tower books and am well into number 5. I should be finished with all seven in two weeks time.


This whole "summer off" thing ain't so bad after all.
